Not so sensible brain 1 - PARTY SEASON!!!! wooooooo!!!! Oh! OH!! Party shoes! We NEEEED party shoes!
Sensible brain 2 - Is it nap time yet?
1 - Flowers!!!! Romance Was Born?! REMEMBER!!!? Ok. So we can't afford them, but OH! Flowers on shoes...BLISS!!!
2 - Seriously. Nap?
1 - We'll have to come up with a plan. I'm thinking LOUD colours, and BRIGHT flowers, and LOADS of texture and silly fun things that are SO illogical and have the potential to cause full scale falling down humiliation but would just be SO. MUCH. FUN! FRILLS!!! OhohOH! LOADS of FRILLS!
2 - We have no money, you remember this, right?
1 - I don't NEED money!!! You can't put a price on FUN and COLOURFUL party shoes that'll transFORM me into a glamourous hottie!!!
2 - I don't think the sales assistant will feel the same way.
1 - When are we going??? WHEN?! I want SHOES! PARTY SHOES!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
2 - Oh my word.

1 - LOUBOUTINS!!!!!!!!
2 -Oh. We're still going.
1 - Ok. Okokok. So they're over 3 grand. But it's like buying ART, RIGHT???!
2 - No.
1 - And they're in SO MANY DIFFERENT COLOURS!!! It's like a party on my FEET!
2 - Why do you keep yelling?
1 - Because these may just be the COOLEST SHOES EVER!!!
2 - Right.
1 - Maybe I can MAKE some!!! OOOeeerrrr, they're so pretty...
2 - Do you remember the quilted Chanel handbag 'I can sew chains' fiasco? DO YOU?
1 - No.
2 - I don't believe you.
1 - Pretty shoes!!! OOH! OOH! PARTY SHOES!!!!

Friday (beause it's almost the weekend) beauty post!

Shu Uemura encourages us to go wild, to go beyond the ordinary, to take a trip to primitive land. I didn't know they had eyeshadow in primitive lands. I do know that I LOVE this makeup, very nude and natural but with bright poppy colours that are perfect for Summer. And I love that the cheeks are still quite pink and glowy adding to the colour festival happening on miss models face. Being a touch famous for their false eyelashes, it's only fair they threw on some here too, which accent her eyes so beautifully. If only I could wear feathers on my bottom lashes and not be considered a complete weirdo. *sigh*. Perhaps if I started with the top lash line I'd look less 'bedraggled birdy' and more 'high fashion birdy'. Psh. Who am I kidding. 'High fashion birdy' wouldn't work with my brows.

Little piggy 1 - OOH OOH OOH OOH OOH!!!! Bright colours!!!!
Little piggy 2 - Oh settle down. Whats wrong with black anyway?
Little piggy 1 - Oh COME ON! Are not a leetle bit excited? We've been mourning for MONTHS now!!!
Little piggy 2 - Stop yelling.
Little piggy 1 - Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeaaase let us be painted in bright cherry's and raspberries and apricots for Spring!
Little piggy 2 - They're fruits.
Little piggy 1 - My goodness IMAGINE the possiblities that come with colour!!
Little piggy 2 - Colour makes me feel ill.
Little piggy 1 - I've been black for months! Are you not going to even try a shimmer-y gold-y apricot, even for me?
Little piggy 2 - I don't care much for you.
Little piggy 1 - This is why you like black huh?
Little piggy 2 - I'm not sure if you've noticed, but we don't actually get a say in what colour we're painted. It would be kind of cool if someone wrote about us though, and what we thought. Spoke up for the little guy you know? Although it probably wouldn't be very helpful, what with you liking fruit salad brights and me liking shades of black.
Little piggy 1 - OHHHHH to be a bright shade!
Little piggy 2 - You're a little strange.
Little piggy 1 - Perhaps you're dead inside!
Little piggy 2 - And this would be why no one cares what we think...

A (rather lovely) wedding I once worked on...

Orange is a colour most will say reminds them of uh, oranges. Or berocca. Or a certain cafe uniform that had shirts in an orange that was brighter than the sun (why?! WHY?!!). So when this lovely bride, we'll call her Sami, let me know what colours she was working with I was intrigued. Scared, but intrigued.

But it worked! A wedding in a vineyard has taught me many things. The Hunter Valley is a long way away. Wear flats in fields. A snake causes menfolk to become manly-like and bunch together around it while achieving nothing. And bright colours rock the socks off an outdoor wedding.

In other news, it seems the sun, still being bright and all, has forgotten how to be warm. I'm thinking chocolate will help. Yes. I do believe it will.
